Webbing slings
Round slings, webbing slings and endless webbing slings are mainly used on their own. Although it can when needed and with advantage also be used in combination with grade 8 chain components. Webbing slings has the advantage of low weight in comparision with grade 8 products, and also a soft surface towards the lifting product which means that no damage is made on the lifting object. The webbing slings are also more flexible and can be tied in different variations. The differnt colours on the webbing slings makes it easy to aknowledge the max load for each sling. Safety factor for all webbing slings are 7:1.
Forankra has since the start in 1984 had its own production of textile webbing slings and have a broad knowledge of these products. In addition to our standard sortiment we can deliver special solutions with a short delivery time since the production takes place in Vårgårda, Sweden.
Round sling
Round sling with our without seam? Round sling with stitch have double sleeve protection polyester webbing which increases the wearness with 40%. These round slings are also stiffer, which makes it easier when slipping the roundsling under the cargo. The seamless round sling has the advantage of the price.
CE-Marked Webbing Sling
From the 1 January 1995 the webbing slings has to be CE-marked. It is an evidence that the webbing slings fulfill EU-machine directive. Maintenace instruction and CE-certificate are enclosed each delivery.
What is safety factor?
Safety factor signifies that the lifting tool has a breaking strenght 7 times the max load. A round sling with article number for example 950203 have a max load of 2 ton. With a safety factor of 7 it means the breaking strenght not can exceed 14 ton. It is important to know that the max load is not to be exceeded.
