Dunnage bags are used to fill unwanted space in a cargo space – either between goods or between goods and the walls of the cargo carrier. After a suitably sized dunnage bag has been placed in the desired position it can be filled with air. The dunnage bag then prevents the cargo from moving around in the cargo carrier and absorbs shocks and vibration.

A dunnage bag inflator is used to fill dunnage bags with air after they have been placed in the cargo space.
