Forankra AB
Forankra AB was founded in 1984 and is today a leading supplier in Scandinavia of solutions that secure goods in transit. Our customers are found in road and air transport, shipping, industry and OEM. We are part of the Forankra group, where our sister companies have a corresponding position in their respective local markets. Our group has a turnover of appr. 90 M€.
Forankra AB's operation covers a wide area as it includes cargo securing for all types of transport and cargo carriers as well as solutions for climate protection of goods in transit (humidity/temperature). Furthermore, we provide a wide range of beam and track systems for body building of cargo carriers, which facilitate cargo securing and enable cargo optimization. These solutions are often unique and developed together with our leading customers.
In addition to this, we have a wide range of lifting equipment, which is adapted to the transport and handling of goods in construction and industry.
Safety
Our commitment is about safety. There are several legal requirements and directives, which regulate how cargo securing and safe lifting must be carried out and what requirements the equipment must fulfill. Forankra AB participates in several committees and groups, whose work set the basis for legislation and adjustment of directives. Meeting these rules and regulations are minimum requirements for us.
However, more is required for the equipment to maintain high quality and function as intended throughout its lifetime. We have therefore organized our operations in clear processes and drive systematic and continuous improvement work with a focus on safety and sustainability in everything we do.
