Lashings are the most common way to secure cargo and the method most often used is the top-over lashing. When using a top-over lashing the cargo is pressed down against the load carrier by the tensioning force built up in the lashing which increases the actual friction between the cargo and the load carrier’s surface and thereby prevents the cargo from sliding. Straps are also used to prevent the goods from tipping. Forankra’s product range includes a waste range of lashings, inside lashings, one-way lashings, wheel lashings, cambuckle lashings and machine lashings in several models and dimensions.

What is the difference between Forankra's Basic and Premium lashings?

Basic is an affordable range of lashings, which covers most needs in cargo securing. Premium is a high-quality range of lashings, where all tensioners have ergonomically designed handles. Some Premium models have tensioners with Gradual Release – a system that provides increased safety by the possibility to gradually release the tension of the lashing.
All products meet the requirements according to SS-EN 12195-2.
