Description
Rotoman is a rotatable lashing point designed for recessed installation in the floor of trucks or trailers. When not in use, the fitting lies flush with the floor and does not obstruct loading operations.
The product has been developed in close cooperation with our customers, based on real-world needs and day-to-day requirements. The result is a rotatable solution that meets the requirements of EN 12640, even when installed recessed. The design is pattern protected and manufactured by forging.
The rotating function and articulated loop ensure that the load forces are always directed correctly, down into the vehicle’s chassis beam. This reduces off-axis loading and provides stable load securing.
Rotoman is installed in an aluminium cup that is welded into the floor. For plywood floors, a rubber seal is used to ensure a tight and secure installation. Fixation is carried out with bolts through the chassis beam, providing a direct connection to the vehicle’s load-bearing structure.
