It is unmatched in resistance to mechanical abrasion, hits and rough treatment. Steel straps are convenient both with hand strapping tools and and with fully automatic strapping machines. The joint can be made by triple punching straps, by a metal seal or by welding. Standard widths are 10-32 mm with thickness 0,4-0,8 mm. Steel straps are winded on single rings ER or wide coils and they are avaliable in blued and black varnish.
